CPC Exec along with KSU FSL councils had the amazing opportunity to attend SGLA this weekend! Our council spent the days going to different sessions listening and learning new ideas that we hope to bring back to campus to help better our communities. We also spent the weekend bonding and growing closer as a council and creating so many fun memories!!

“My favorite memory of being a pi chi is the connection I made with my partner, Ashlynn! Prior to recruitment I had never met her, but as it turned out- we are in the same cohort of the nursing school! We immediately hit it off and formed an instant friendship like no other, as if we had known one another our whole lives. Being able to connect with my pi chi partner allowed us both to further connect with the girls in our group and carry the weight of our girls’ emotions together, rather than alone. We laughed when our girls laughed, and cried when they cried, and danced through each up and down… literally! I have an ever growing list of memories and sentiment sprouting from my time spent as a pi chi, but what I am most proud to walk away with are the lessons I learned along the way. I learned how to be a better listener, when to solicit my advice vs when not to, and most of all- how to be a more intentional and present friend to those around me. I would have never met Ashlynn and shared so many experiences and learned so many lessons had it not been for being in this position. I am a better person and better friend all because I made the BEST decision to be a pi chi!!”

“I applied to pan council as a freshman, wanting to get more involved in leadership, but got so much more out of my experience. I am so thankful to have friends in several organizations in this community and for the ways they have and will continue to support me in life! Serving as VPPR has been one of the most rewarding and fun experiences of college so far. I wouldn’t trade these friendships or experiences for the world!!💚”

I never would’ve met Liz and Ella if it weren’t for Panhellenic, two people who at the beginning of the semester I barley knew, and now I can call them some of my closest friends! My experience on Panhellenic has reminded me why sororities were created in the first place: to create bonds of sisterhood with likeminded people and to give back to our communities, I have finally found that in my time serving as director of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging for Panhellenic, but specifically in my own chapter and I couldn’t be more grateful!”
