How did y’all become friends??
“We became friends in Hannah’s freshman year of HS and Jackie’s sophomore year. We were both going through really hard times, and immediately bonded through that. We have been best friends ever since, and moved in with each other when we came to college!”

How do y’all continue your relationship in different affiliations?
“We have “Hannah-Jackie time.” We both have crazy schedules, but we always make sure to make time for each other. Weather it’s sitting on the couch watching a movie or going to dinner with each other ”

CPC Exec along with KSU FSL councils had the amazing opportunity to attend SGLA this weekend! Our council spent the days going to different sessions listening and learning new ideas that we hope to bring back to campus to help better our communities. We also spent the weekend bonding and growing closer as a council and creating so many fun memories!!

“My favorite memory of being a pi chi is the connection I made with my partner, Ashlynn! Prior to recruitment I had never met her, but as it turned out- we are in the same cohort of the nursing school! We immediately hit it off and formed an instant friendship like no other, as if we had known one another our whole lives. Being able to connect with my pi chi partner allowed us both to further connect with the girls in our group and carry the weight of our girls’ emotions together, rather than alone. We laughed when our girls laughed, and cried when they cried, and danced through each up and down… literally! I have an ever growing list of memories and sentiment sprouting from my time spent as a pi chi, but what I am most proud to walk away with are the lessons I learned along the way. I learned how to be a better listener, when to solicit my advice vs when not to, and most of all- how to be a more intentional and present friend to those around me. I would have never met Ashlynn and shared so many experiences and learned so many lessons had it not been for being in this position. I am a better person and better friend all because I made the BEST decision to be a pi chi!!”

I am so thankful to have friends in several organizations in this community and for the ways they have and will continue to support me in life! Serving as VPPR has been one of the most rewarding and fun experiences of college so far. I wouldn’t trade these friendships or experiences for the world!!💚”

I never would’ve met Liz and Ella if it weren’t for Panhellenic, two people who at the beginning of the semester I barley knew, and now I can call them some of my closest friends! My experience on Panhellenic has reminded me why sororities were created in the first place: to create bonds of sisterhood with likeminded people and to give back to our communities, I have finally found that in my time serving as director of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging for Panhellenic, but specifically in my own chapter and I couldn’t be more grateful!”

Dear PNM,
First of all, I’m so excited to meet you and to see you find your home away from home! College is some of the best years of your life and there’s nothing that makes it better than having sisters stand by your side through it all! Going through recruitment was one of the best decisions I ever made. I remember being in your shoes and being nervous for college and the big girl world, but walking into Zeta made all my worries go away in a blink of an eye. Zeta Tau Alpha has helped make me the woman I am today! These girls have never failed to be there for me in any situation that life throws at me, best and worst. The girls you get to call sisters will be one of the biggest blessing you’ll ever have. The late night talks, crazy stories, and laughs we all share is something I will forever cherish. This group of women is something I call home for me! They make the world such a better place by just being in it. Recruitment has always been a highlight of my college years and always will be.
